Description
This 2 gang wifi switch replaces an ordinary wall switch and gives you two independently controlled lighting circuits from a single tempered glass panel. It connects straight to your 2.4 GHz network with no hub, and it works from the panel itself, from the Tuya or Smart Life app, or by voice through Alexa or Google Home.
What the 2 gang wifi switch does
Each channel switches up to 2000W of resistive load across a 110 to 250V supply, so it handles ordinary domestic and light commercial lighting circuits without derating. The radio is 2.4 GHz only, which is the band covered by ETSI EN 300 328, and it will not associate with a 5 GHz network. That trips up a lot of people with dual-band routers: if the switch refuses to pair, split the bands or temporarily disable the 5 GHz radio during setup. Switches of this type are built to IEC 60669-2-1, the standard covering electronic switches in fixed household installations.

Does this 2 gang wifi switch need a neutral wire?
Yes. The Wi-Fi radio needs permanent power, so a neutral conductor must be present at the back box. This is the single most common reason a smart switch cannot be fitted. Before ordering, unscrew the existing switch plate and look for a spare conductor, usually blue, that is not connected to the switch itself. Many older buildings were wired with live and switched live only. If there is no neutral at the switch position, the circuit needs re-pulling, or an in-line module fitted at the light instead. App and voice control
Pair the switch in the Tuya or Smart Life app by scanning the QR code in the manual. Both apps expose scheduling, countdown timers, scenes and household sharing, and both bridge to Alexa and Google Home. Because control runs through the vendor cloud, remote access depends on your internet connection, and so does voice. Safety
Isolate the circuit at the breaker before removing the existing plate. Do not install in bathrooms, wet rooms or other humid locations. Do not exceed 2000W on any channel. Installation by a qualified electrician is recommended.
Frequently asked questions
Will it work on my 5 GHz Wi-Fi?
No. The radio is 2.4 GHz only. On a dual-band router, either split the SSIDs or disable 5 GHz during pairing, then re-enable it.
Does it still work if the internet goes down?
Yes, the touch panel keeps working normally. Only app and voice control need the connection.
What happens after a power cut?
The switch restores to its previous state once power returns and reconnects to Wi-Fi on its own. Behaviour on generator switchover is the same.
Can I use it with dimmable LED lamps?

Choosing between 2 gang and another size
Count the switches on the existing plate, not the lights in the room. A single plate operating a ceiling light and a wall light from two rockers needs a 2 gang, not two separate units. If you are replacing a plate that has more rockers than the gang count you order, the spare circuits are left disconnected, which is the most common reason a smart switch has to be sent back. Where a room has switches at two doors, the second position cannot simply be replaced with a second 2 gang wifi switch, because two-way wiring behaves differently. Installation and finish
The unit fits a standard 86 mm back box and sits close to the wall, so it suits both new build and renovation. The glass panel is available in the usual finishes, and because the whole range shares one form factor, mixing 1, 2 and 3 gang units through a property still gives you a consistent wall line. We recommend planning the layout before ordering: an installer who knows which circuits land in which box will usually specify a different mix from a homeowner counting rooms.
